Obituary

PORTER- Nicholas Paul Dullinger, aged 68, passed away July 13, 2026, after many years of failing health.

Nick was born in Maryland on February 1, 1958, residing in numerous areas throughout his childhood, before finally placing his roots in Porter, Maine.

Nick was a hard worker. He took pride in his machining career until his retirement in 2022.

He had a love for Nascar racing, old cars, and his beloved cockatoo, Shawn.

Nick never failed to show up for his children and grandchildren's school functions throughout the years. He was at almost every football game, band concert, dance recital, lacrosse game and soccer game.

In 2023, he was presented with a 40 Year Service Medal honoring his dedication to Freemasonry.

Nick is survived by his long time, devoted partner, Wendy Pepin, son Steve Dullinger and wife Amanda, daughter Renee Root and husband Ron, grandson Connor Root, granddaughter Kayli Root, brother Arthur (George) Dullinger and wife Cheryl. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Betty Dullinger, brother James, and sister Mary (Kathy) Dullinger.

No formal services will be held at this time.
