Kenneth C. Rossi, 77, of Old River Road, Lincoln, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Irene B. (Dowd) Rossi, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Providence, Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Americo and Lucy (Campopiano) Rossi.
Ken was the proud owner and operator of Rossi and Son Dental Lab in North Scituate for 38 years before retiring. He also proudly served his country as a member of the Rhode Island Army National Guard.
Above all, Ken cherished spending time with his family. Affectionately known as "Poppi" to his grandchildren, he especially loved playing chess, swimming with them in the pool, enjoying a good Italian meal, never passing up a donut, and sharing a good laugh with those he loved.
In addition to his beloved wife, Irene, he leaves his children: Americo Rossi and his wife, Wendy Vietro, of Cranston; Jennifer Gaughan and her husband, Sean, of Lincoln; and Kenneth Rossi of Lincoln. He was the proud and devoted grandfather of eleven grandchildren: Katrina Miller; Dante, Mia, and Samantha Rossi; Cameron, Nicholas, and Evan Brigido; Maeve Gaughan; and Jacob, Gabriella, and Michael Rossi. He also leaves his cherished great-granddaughter, Gianna Brigido.
He is also survived by his sisters, Iris Rossi of Putnam, Connecticut, and Patti Desaulnier and her husband, David, of Putnam, Connecticut.
The Rossi family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Ryan Chalmers for the kindness and unwavering support she provided over the past several months.
Ken's funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association in Kenneth's memory.
