WORCESTER-Viola M. (Stacy) Morelly, 95 of 167 Millbrook Street formerly of 26 Keen Street died Sunday, September 8th in UMass Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Campus after an illness. Her husband of 37 years, James L. Morelly died in 1979. She leaves a son, James R. Morelly of Dracut; 3 daughters, Doris V. Pressey of Cherry Valley, Jeanne M. Johns of Rutland, Faye R. Cronin with whom she lived; 2 sisters, Ruth Hisoire of Millbury and Lillian De Celle of Worcester; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. Several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester daughter of Harry and Florence (Hemenway) Stacy and lived in Worcester all her life. Mrs. Morelly was a homemaker. She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Auburn and was an avid reader.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 10th at 10:00 AM in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 AM the morning of the funeral.
