LIMINGTON- Philip Clifford Sanborn, age 79, passed away on July 10, 2026. He was one of seven siblings born to Clifford & Alice Sanborn. He is survived by three of his siblings, his only child Ada Marie Price, three granddaughters, Meesha LeDoux-King, Jada and Kayla Price and two grandsons, David Krogh and
Théoden King. Phil was born on Mount Katahdin, Maine on June 13th, 1947. His mother, Alice passed away when he was only 11 years old. He joined the United States Army and traveled to California and Germany. After the military he settled in California and then Connecticut where he had his daughter and learned and became a master burner man in 1969. Now they are called HVAC technicians. Phil worked on heating systems for many decades including owning his own heating business and gun business for many years. His passions included gun collecting, hunting and fishing. Phil was a man that would take the shirt off his own back to help people and had many friends and will be greatly missed. There will be a celebration of life at his cabin located at 9 Sandville Rd., Limington, Maine on July 31st from 2pm - 7pm. This will be an open house so please come by if you would like to pay your respects or just would like to talk about him, tell a story or a favorite memory.
