Civita “Tina” DelBorgo (DiCecca) passed away at home on Sunday, July 5, 2026. She was 92. Born and raised in Gaeta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosalia (DiChiappari) DiCecca.
She and her husband Francesco were married in Gaeta and she soon came to the United States. Francesco soon followed and they lived in Somerville before eventually settling in Medford. Tina was a delightful woman who loved her family and was dedicated to their care. She always kept a beautiful and spotless home where everyone felt welcome. She took great pride in preparing delicious meals for any occasion and always had something growing in her garden. Tina did enjoy going out shopping and made regular return visits to Gaeta.
The beloved wife of the late Francesco who passed away in 2016, she was a devoted mother to Concetta Lorenti and her husband Alexander, and Rosemarie Caranfa and her husband Anthony. She was a loving grandmother to Jennifer Caranfa, Tony Caranfa and his wife Christine, Amanda Lorenti and Alex Lorenti. She was a proud great-grandmother to Leo Caranfa. The dear sister of Candeloro DiCecca, his wife Anna and the late Rosetta DiCecca, she leaves her grand-dogs Zinnia and Tank.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, July 15th from 9 -11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St Clement Church, 60 Warner St, Medford at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
