FALL RIVER - Robert Andrade, 57, of 132 Hood St., Fall River, died Tuesday at the Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River, MA. He was the longtime companion of Valerie Cornwall. He is survived by Two Daughters: Melissa “Missy” Lavoie of Fall River and her Longtime companion Carl Moniz and Tracey Barboza , One Son: Damon Andrade of Fall River, One Brother: David Andrade of New Bedford, One Sister-in-Law: Maria Andrade of New Bedford, One Sister: Georgette Correia of New Bedford, Three Grandchildren: Kendra, Kayla, and Hector, and Several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Joseph Andrade.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Bevenda Andrade-Gilbert of New Bedford and the late Joseph Andrade. He was a Fall River resident since 1966. He was a Supervisor of Men’s Program at Steppingstone, Inc. and also a Counselor at Highpoint Transitional Support Services of New Bedford. Previously, he was a Counselor at S.T.A.R.R. in Fall River. He worked a total of 14 years for the three above organizations. He was a member of Anchored in Christ Church.
Visitation 5-9 P.M. Saturday, at the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday evening, in the funeral home. Cremation to follow.
