Auburn- Joan L. (Quilla) Migneault, 69, of 14 Masonic Circle, died Saturday, Sept. 7, in Life Care Center of Auburn, after an illness.
Her husband, George A. Migneault, died in 1996. She leaves a daughter, Deborah J. Emond of Worcester; a grandson, Robert R. Dahlgren of Illinois; a brother, Roland L. Quilla Jr. of Oxford; and a sister, Carol Graves of Oxford. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Roland L. and Ingrid (Carlson) Quilla and attended Oxford schools and Worcester Girls Trade School. She moved to California in 1963, where she lived for many years, returning here in May.
Mrs. Migneault was a quality inspector many years at McDonnell Douglas in California, retiring in 1996.
Mrs. Migneault was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She enjoyed traveling and floral design.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in St. Josephs Church, 189 Oxford Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the UMass-Memorial Foundation, Cancer Research Fund, 1 Lincoln Square, 15 Belmont Street, Worcester, MA 01605. Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester, is directing arrangements.
