
Leonard J. Ambrose of Raynham, MA (formerly of Dedham) passed away on July 5, 2026 surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Corinne B. Ambrose. Lenny was also son of the late Charles J. Ambrose and Josephine L. Ambrose. He leaves behind three daughters, Lauren Colaluca and her husband Anthony Colaluca, Kimberly Ambrose and her wife Josseline Ramos, and Jessica Vargas and her husband Justin Vargas.
Lenny is survived by his siblings, the late Charles Ambrose and his late wife Nancy Ambrose, Mary Ferney and her late husband James Ferney, Arthur Ambrose and his wife Jane Ambrose, Michael Ambrose and his partner Toni Stamatos, Michelle Heater and her late husband Russell Heater. Lenny had many nieces and nephews which he adored immensely.
Lenny loved spending time with his 7 grandchildren Richard, Jayven, Nicholas, Viviana, Joseph, Jordan and Evelyn.
Lenny was a very loyal person. He valued the relationships with his friends and always made a lasting impression on anyone he met. He had a great sense of humor and lit up any room he walked into.
Lenny dedicated his time to service in the Army National Guard with one deployment to Iraq.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St, Dedham on Thursday, July 9 from 4-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 420 High St, Dedham om Friday. July 10 at 10am (accessible parking in the rear of the church). Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
