Dale was born in Tifton, Georgia on November 9, 1960, to the late Henry and Betty Harper. He was a man who valued family, friendship, and the simple joys in life. He especially loved taking trips to the beach and spoiling his beloved family. He retired from Perrin Farm Equipment and was additionally employed with Tifton Machine Works. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by one brother: William "Bimbo" Harper, and one sister: Paulette Blanchard.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted life partner, Janet Boyd of Tifton, three stepsons: Paul (Maggie) Boyd, Steven (Sarah) Wilmot, and Johnny Boyd, one sister and brother-in-law: Trisha and Steve Landers of Tifton, one brother and sister-in-law: Bobby and Elaine Blanchard of Ocilla, and his grandchildren: Maddie, Brieanna, Wesley, Robert, Mae, and Levi.
Dale also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Dale and will forever treasure the memories they shared with him. This includes a very special niece, Shannon Cook, who helped provide assistance whenever he needed.
