Kay Satoshi Hara, D.P.M., 88, of Santa Paula, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Dr. Hara was born: May 14, 1938 in Concord, California and was a Ventura, a county resident for the past 80 years.
Dr. Hara was a podiatrist for over 50 years with his office in Santa Paula.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Panama.
He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church Of Santa Paula, a member of the Santa Paula Rotary Club and active with the Boy Scouts in Santa Paula.
Dr. Hara was active with the Santa Paula Ukulele Club and the Oxnard Gem And Mineral Society.
Dr. Hara was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Shirley Hara.
He is survived by his son: Mark Hara, of Santa Paula; sister: Vivian; and granddaughter: Emily.
There will be a celebration of life with a date and place still pending.
Dr. Hara was entrusted to the care of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main Street, Ventura.
