Zalius Louis “Tonton”, age 81, of Boston, MA, peacefully transitioned on June 20, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1945, in Bonneau, Haiti, to the late Zaport and Florilia Louis.
In 1978, Zalius migrated to Boston seeking greater opportunities for his family. Upon arriving, he quickly found work in the hospitality industry as a Banquet Steward. He labored tirelessly, never losing sight of his responsibility to support the loved ones he left behind.
Zalius was the beloved husband of Clomelie Louis and loving father of 6 children: Gisele Louis, Fequiert Louis, Emmanuela Louis, Flora Louis, Naromie Accime, and Donna Louis. He shared an especially close bond with his 11 grandchildren: Franceline, Sam, the late Charlene, Janine, Anthony, Christian, Ethan, Darla, Jada, Zachary, and Victoria. Their love and presence brought immeasurably comfort during his final days.
Zalius had been raised with 9 siblings. He was preceded in death by his brothers Heramon Louis, Cyril Louis, and Tècion Louis, his sisters Elizabeth Louis and Saintamise Lelio. He is survived by his siblings Lorisia Sylvain, Clairvanie Louis, Claudius Louis, Kilmène Louis, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will continue to cherish his memory.
Zalius was known by his siblings as the "classy" brother, he always took great pride in his appearance and carried himself with dignity and grace.
A devoted man of faith, zalius believed deeply in leading by example. He ensured that his
children were raised in the church and grounded in strong moral values.
Though naturally reserved, his kindness, humility and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on
everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. It was truly a blessing and a privilege to have
known Zalius.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Religious Service from 9:30-11 AM in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 871 North Main Street, Randolph, MA. burial will be in Central Cemetery, 327 North Street, Randolph, MA. 02368.
