Worcester - Thomas M. Moniak, 43, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026 in his home.
Tom is survived by his parents, Stephen and Krystyna (Milewska) Moniak of Worcester; three brothers, Christopher Moniak and his wife, Justyna of Holden, John Moniak and his wife, Christine of Charlton and Matthew Moniak of Leicester; a sister, Kathleen Power and her husband, Paul of Concord, NH. Mr. Moniak also leaves behind his five nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Tom was born in Springfield, MA and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School. He worked as a carpenter for many years and was a member of the Carpenters Local 336.
He always took the time to help his friends and family, whether it was with his carpentry skills or just being there to help with a simple task. Tom enjoyed to go fishing and spending time in Boston, but he was always the happiest when he was able to be with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 1 from the Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will for Thomas will be held on Tuesday, June 30, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
