Lillian Y. Tellier 94 of 303 Rhodes Ave. Woonsocket died Monday in the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Ernest Tellier. She was born in Sherbrooke Canada, a daughter of the late Joseph and Graziella (Guilmette) Hamel. Mrs. Tellier was a homemaker and a former member of the St. Ann Ladies Guild.
Mrs. Tellier is survived by a daughter Simonne Tellier of Blackstone, a son Gerard Tellier of North Smithfield, two grandchildren; Michelle Tellier of North Smithfield, and Normand Tellier of Woonsocket and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Arthur Hamel of Little Rock AR, and Dominique Hamel of Lowell, MA, and a sister Theresa Kiczak of Woonsocket. She was also a sister of the late Lucien, Roland, and Raymond Hamel, and Rita Stranahan, and Blanche Galipeau.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Paul’s Church, Blackstone. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 6-8 pm.
