Obituary

Jesse Johnson (55) of Winchendon passed away at home after a long battle with Cancer. Jesse was a generous and loving person who always put others first, especially his family. He was a very hard worker who ran a dry-wall company for decades. His company's specialty was performing tasks that others couldn't or wouldn't perform due to intricacies and difficulty level. His work could be considered an art form by some and can be witnessed in establishments such as M.I.T in Cambridge, the reformed historics mills of Lawrence and in multiple Midtown-Manhattan restorations. Jesse was an animal lover as well as an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and camping with his family. He also enjoyed community based events, often volunteering to help local organizations in numerous roles. These roles included helping with events at the Phillipston Congregational Church where he was a member and also served as a Deacon. He held many other volunteer positions and enjoyed assisting with his children's sports teams and helping out at the Winchendon YMCA. Most of all, Jesse enjoyed living life to the fullest with his life partner of 22 years, Tina Davis and their 2 beautiful children Jada and Jordan Johnson. They traveled extensively for vacations and took countless day trips across New England. His time spent with Tina and their children took precedent over everything and made him the happiest and proudest Dad in the world.

Jesse also leaves brothers and sisters, Roger Johnson of Gardner, Matthew Johnson and wife Kelly of Gardner, Sherry Berube of Petersham and a twin sister with whom he shared a special bond, Jennifer Mosher and her significant other Doug Gleason of Phillipston. He also leaves step-mother, Claudette Johnson and step-brother, Danny Patriquin of Templeton. He was predeceased by father Ernie Johnson of Templeton, mother Judy Johnson of Phillipston, brothers Ernie Johnson Jr, Scott Johnson and Raymond Goland as well as a sister, Kristen Johnson. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as countless friends whom he loved very much and enjoyed spending time with. Also left behind was Dolly, the family dog who was by Jesse's side at all times.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Phillipston Congregational Church on the common on Saturday June 27th, at 3PM. At Jesse's request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Cancer Support Fund of Central Mass.
