Khozozian, Carol Ann (1942-2026)
Carol Khozozian, age 83, of Watertown MA, died peacefully from Alzheimer’s Disease, on June 9, 2026.
Born in Boston in 1942 to Lawrence and Edith Kelly, Carol spent her life in Watertown and fondly remembered growing up on Bromfield Street with her four siblings. Her athletic spirit appeared early, when she often outplayed the boys in baseball at Bemis Park, and continued years later through competitive team tennis. Carol loved being with friends, especially for card games on Lovell Road, where her kitchen table was always filled with laughter. A devoted mother of four, she showed her love quietly and consistently by putting family first. Through homemaking, endless patience, rides to practice, gentle humor, Toll House cookies, comforting words, and unwavering support from the sidelines, Carol was always there for her children. As much as Carol cherished motherhood, being a grandmother brought her special joy. She treasured time with her grandchildren and loved being their “Guy.”
Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Kelly and her sister, Sheila Kelly, and is survived by her children, John Khozozian and his fiancée, Katelyn, Mark Khozozian and his wife, Cindy, Kelly Curran and her husband, Sean, and Lauren Burke and her husband Dennis; her grandchildren Chloe Khozozian, Jake Khozozian, Maxwell Khozozian, Luke Khozozian, Zachary Khozozian, Michael Curran, John Curran, Christopher Curran, Ian Burke, Devon Burke, and Ryan Burke; and her siblings, Lawrence Kelly, and Sean Kelly.
A private family service will be held to honor Carol’s life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
