Judith Ann "Judy" Macy Wood

Judith Ann "Judy" Macy Wood, 85, of Anderson, passed away following a brief illness at Community Hospital in Anderson, on June 8, 2026.
She was born on August 13, 1940 in Anderson, the daughter of Gerald and Pearl (Davis) Lennis. She attended Anderson Business College and spent most of her life working in retail office work at Hoyt Wright Company and Meijer and she also worked in the lunch room at Forest Hills School. Judy worked for the Gold Key Hotel in Orlando, FL , where she resided for 10 years, returning to Anderson in 2012.
Judy was a longtime member of Central Christian Church and was active in several of the ladies groups. She enjoyed socializing with friends, playing games and cards and meeting for Friday night dinner outings. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her son, Scott (Donna) Macy; three grandchildren John Tyler Macy (Jessi West) , Jacob Michael Macy and Patrick Scott Macy; great grandson, John Scott Macy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry Zane Wood and her son, Mike Macy.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Central Christian Church- Schuster Chapel on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 4 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to Central Christian Church.
