
With profound sadness, the family of Colleen M. Meehan (Gorman), 65, of Mashpee, MA, announces her peaceful passing on May 19th, 2026, after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. Born December 6, 1960, in Salem, MA, Colleen built a life defined by love.
A graduate of Newbury College (Summa cum laude), she spent her career as a bookkeeper. Outside of her career, Colleen enjoyed living a life full of adventure, dancing as if no one was watching, spending time with her family and friends, loving her music and the arts. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her as a shining light, full of fun and laughter, and as a mother to all.
Colleen was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Monica Gorman (Roche); her beloved son, Ryan Tucker; her brothers, Daniel and Robert Gorman; and her father-in-law, John Meehan.
She will be missed, loved and remembered by her husbian, Colleen A. Meehan; her daughter, Shannon Tucker; her granddaughter, Kaylei Turner, whom she raised; her grandchildren, Jalexi, Kahlia, Ahnnah, and Brayden Leary; her sister, Tara Gorman; her brother, David Gorman, and his wife, Debbie; her mother-in-law, Sheryl Meehan; sister in law Darlene Mannion, and her husband, Michael; her niece, Rachel De Oliveira, and her husband, Renato; her nephews, Jason Gorman and his wife, Mandy, Cameron Reese, and Connor Mannion; her great-nephews, Kyle Robertson and Nathanial De Oliveira; her great-niece, Rielle De Oliveira; and many other relatives and chosen family near and far.
Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and friends who supported Colleen with unwavering love and compassion during her final months.
A celebration of life will be held on a date soon to be announced to honor Colleen, where we will gather to share stories, laugh, and cry, remembering the joy, love, and laughter she brought to all our lives.
