LIMINGTON- Jeanette “Netty” Lynn McElroy, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2026. Born on January 22, 1963 to parents James Paul Abildgaard and Judith Lee (Cunningham) McGovern in Portland, Maine.
During her younger years, Jeanette went to Elementary School in the Bonny Eagle school district and attended Deering High School. She worked one of the hardest jobs- she was a homemaker and a caretaker for her family.
She had many enjoyments such as, crafting, solving puzzles, roller skating during her younger years, bird watching and her most favorite enjoyment she had was spending time with her family who will miss their Netty dearly.
Jeanette is predeceased by her father- James Paul Abildgaard and her late husband- Michael McElroy. She is survived by her mother- Judith McGovern, her siblings- Jim Abildgaard and Jason Abildgaard, her daughters- Samantha Montessori and her husband Derek Montessori and Amanda McElroy and her partner Jason “Jocko”’Jockett and her grandchildren- Allen Scott, Morgan Scott, Freya Montessori and Delilah Montessori.
