Obituary


Steven E. Lundin, of Chelmsford, passed away suddenly on May 30, 2026, at the age of 61. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Quigley) Lundin. He was born in Winchester he was the cherished son of the late Warren "Bubba" Lundin and Shirley (Anderson) Lundin.

Steven was raised in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School class of 1982. He was an avid sportsman and played baseball, football and hockey all throughout his youth. He loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, skiing and boating. Travel and music were also two of his passions and he enjoyed attending hundreds of concerts from the time he was a young teen. He spent many great summers vacationing with family in Old Orchard Beach, ME and loved spending time in Fort Myers Beach, FL with friends and family. He was an active member of the Woburn City Athletic Club.

To Steven family was everything and he was a huge presence in the lives of his large loving family. He was a loyal friend to many and always at the ready to lend a hand. Steven worked as a plumber for most of his life, having had his own business, Viking Plumbing in Silverthorne, Colorado, for many years. Upon returning to Massachusetts, he continued work as a commercial plumber for G&G Mechanical.

In addition to his loving wife Maureen, he is survived by his children, Hunter Lundin of Hartford CT, Brooke Lundin of Killingly, CT and his step children Brian Perry, his wife Caity and their children Annie and Owen of Tewksbury MA and Caroline Picariello of Lowell MA. He was the dear brother of Sharon Lundin of Fort Myers FL, Sherry (Lundin) Ahearn and her husband David Ahearn of Billerica, and Keith Lundin and his wife Marisa (Tracanna) Lundin of Woburn. He was a devoted fun-loving uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and his great-niece.

A memorial service will be conducted at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant Street, Woburn, MA on Saturday June 6th, at 12 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 10 AM to 12PM. Services will conclude with a graveside service at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Steven's memory to the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn, Charles Gardner Lane, Woburn, MA 01801.
