It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gaetano Tarara, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose love for family was the cornerstone of his life.
Gaetano is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Crocifissa Tarara (Tardinaco), his beloved wife, Josephine Tarara, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Josephine Valanzola and Angelica D'Antona, and his brother, Frank Tarara.
He is survived by his loving son, Giuseppe Tarara, and daughter-in-law, Laura Hough, as well as his cherished granddaughter, Aria Tarara, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Vinny and Angela Tarara, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Gaetano was a true family man whose home was always open to everyone. He took great pride in bringing loved ones together, often finding a way to squeeze one more chair around the table and one more guest into the house. Family gatherings were among his greatest joys, and he treasured every moment spent surrounded by those he loved. Gaetano was an avid gardener. Gaetano found happiness in tending to his garden and sharing its bounty with others. He was known throughout the neighborhood for his generosity, often feeding family, friends, and neighbors alike. He also took tremendous pride in making his homemade wine, a craft he enjoyed sharing with everyone fortunate enough to visit his home.
His kindness, warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to family touched countless lives. While he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on through the traditions he created, the memories he gave us, and the love he shared so freely.
Gaetano's family finds comfort in knowing that he is reunited with those who went before him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
