Samantha Marie “Sam” Smith, 38, of Derry, NH, formerly of Milton, NH passed away Saturday May 30, 2026, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. Samantha was born June 30, 1987, in Rochester, NH and was the daughter of Brenda (Wessell) Smith, and Michael Smith. She was raised and educated in Milton, NH and was a graduate of Nute High School. Sam had been a resident of Derry for the past four years. She had been raising her two youngest children and maintaining her sobriety surrounded by her family. She cherished reclaiming her relationships with her family and her tight knit group of friends who helped her more than they will ever know.
Sam played volleyball and was a cheerleader in high school. She also enjoyed crafting and loved to be around people. Sam will forever be remembered for her infectious smile and quick wit. She loved to make people smile.
In addition to her mother and father, members of the family include her three children, Aiden Dupuis-Smith, Cameron Jablonski and Taylor Jablonski, a sister, Amanda Currier, a brother, Dana Smith, two nephews, Jack and Alex Currier and a niece, Izzy Smith.
After cremation, calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
