Linda Kay Stewart

Linda Kay Stewart, 85, of Yorktown, passed away on May 28, 2026 at Middletown Nursing and Rehab . She was born on June 22, 1940 in Muncie, the daughter of Earl and Alice (Kidd) Smith.
Linda was a cosmetologist and operated Designs by Studio 4 for many years. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star #568 of Daleville. She was also a floral designer and enjoyed preparing arrangements for the Paramount Theatre and the Festival of Trees.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Larry M. Stewart of Yorktown; daughter, Kimberlee Taylor-Plough of Anderson; grandchildren Macey (Michael) Payne of Minnesota and Kirbee (Jacob) Case of Muncie; great grandchildren Emma, Hayden, Camryn, Jocelynn, Addison, Maxwell and Wrenley; two sisters Nancy Burton of Florida, Dianna Smith of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Smith.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 4 pm at Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will take place at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be held at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service on Thursday from 2-4 pm. An Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held at 3pm at the funeral home.
