Delphis A. W. Moreau, 86, of Acushnet, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Young) Moreau, they shared 63 years of marriage.
Mr. Moreau was born in New Bedford, son of the late Alfred and Dora (Lemieux) Moreau and had resided in Acushnet since 1968. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to retirement in 2005, he worked as a printer for the New Bedford Standard Times. He volunteered at the Shepherd's Pantry and was an avid reader. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life.
Survivors along with his wife include his brother-in-law: Wayne Young and his wife Beth of Austin, TX; along with 4 nieces: Pam, Cheryl, Kimberly and Jocelyn.
He was the brother-in-law of the late William and Marilyn Hawkes,
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, May 29, 2026 at Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven at 11:00 A.M.
