Kristin Kathleen O’Hara
Born on September 22, 1983, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Kristin moved to Cape Cod with her
family in 1991, where she would build a life rooted in compassion, service, and dedication to
others. She graduated from Nauset Regional High School and continued her lifelong pursuit of
education through studies at Mount Holyoke College, the Cape Cod Community College
Paramedic Program, and the University of New England Physician Assistant Program.
Above all, Kristin cherished her family and the people she loved most. She leaves behind her
beloved son, Declan; her soulmate, Nicholas Bonino; her mother, Susan O’Hara; her niece,
Caitlin; and her nephew, Thomas. Kristin was preceded in death by her father, Thomas O’Hara,
and her younger sister, Caitlin. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins,
friends, and colleagues, all of whom were blessed with wonderful memories that will be carried
forever in their hearts.
Kristin devoted her life to caring for others through a long and meaningful career in public
service and healthcare. From the ambulances she staffed as a paramedic to the offices and
emergency rooms where she worked as a physician assistant, she touched countless lives with
her intelligence, compassion, and unwavering kindness. Her coworkers, patients, friends, and
family will remember her as someone who always put others before herself and offered comfort
wherever she went. Her strength, warmth, humor, and caring spirit will be profoundly missed by
all who knew and loved her. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made on
the lives around her will never be forgotten. To honor Kristin’s memory, the family requests that,
