Gabriel McDonough of Canton Massachusetts formerly of Jamaica Plain Boston, born in Clifden County Galway Ireland February 4, 1937. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning May 19, 2026. Beloved husband of Ann (Grady). Devoted father of the late James McDonough and his wife Diane of Hyde Park, John McDonough of Maine, Janet Mahoney of Hyde Park, Joan McDonough of Boston. Loving grandfather of Sean McDonough and his wife Sonia of Wakefield, Tom McDonough of Hyde Park, and Dan McDonough of Hyde Park. Proud great-grandfather of Sadie and Sonny McDonough of Wakefield. Brother to the late Frank McDonough, Margaret “Rita” Egan, Teresa Healy, Molly Murphy, Thomas, Bernard, Robert, John, James, Harry, and Patrick.
Visiting Hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, May 26th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27th at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 11am. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
