Sarah T. Giordano of Saugus, formerly of Medford and Malden, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. She was 79 years old. Born in Somerville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Louis and Mary C. (DeFuria) Giordano.
Sarah was a remarkably happy soul who always had a smile to share. She truly enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved to paint and draw, listen to music, and enjoyed peanut butter and all kinds of sweets. Her most coveted items were her collection of baby dolls. She cherished each one and enjoyed getting new ones on special occasions.
Sarah was the heart of her group home, deeply loved by her many friends and the caregivers who became her second family.
Sarah was the dear sister of Janet Selvitelli and her husband Paul of East Falmouth. She was the loving aunt to Mark Selvitelli and his wife Heather, and Greg Selvitelli and his wife Maria. She was also the proud great-aunt to Samantha, Alexandra, Dominic, Isabella, and Sofia.
A visiting hour will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA on Wednesday, May 27, from 10–11 AM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.

Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
