Kay Frances Hollingsworth, 84, of Tifton passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Ms. Hollingsworth will be laid to rest at Riverside Oakview Cemetery in Albany. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 18, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born April 10, 1942, in Bibb County, Miss Hollingsworth was the daughter of the late Edgar Walton Hollingsworth and Frances Scott Hollingsworth. She lived many years in Albany. Her favorite hobby was stringing beads, and she enjoyed listening to music, especially opera. She loved hairbows, sweet tea, ice cream, and especially peace and quiet.
Ms. Hollingsworth is survived by one brother, Edgar “Ed” Hollingsworth of Valdosta.
