Patricia Ann Garland “Tricia” (Traynham) of Medford MA, passed away on May 10th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness at the age of 80.
Pat was born on February 4, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Lorraine (Mack) and the late Gene Graziosi. She graduated from Everett High School in June of 1964 and married the love of her life Richard P. Garland on August 22, 1964. They shared a wonderful 64 years together.
She was a fiercely dedicated mother to Paul R. Garland of Billerica, MA; the late Scott W. Garland; Mark E. Garland of Nashua, NH; Kristy Leonard of Commerce, GA and Robbin Brydges of Jacksonville, FL.
She was the heart of the home and brought joy to everyone around her. She was an amazing Nana to Brandon, Justin, Lily and Cameron Garland; Jacob and Isabelle Brazis; and Dalton and Dawson Brydges. Great grandmother to Jaxson Garland.
Patricia was a loving sister of the late Ralph (Gilda) Traynham, Gary (Sherry) Traynham, DeeDee Lewis, Ginny (Paul) Maggio, and Corinne (Billy) DeVito.
She was also deeply loved by many nieces , nephews and godchildren as well as her lifelong friends that became family.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday May 15th at 9AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday May 14th from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Pat’s name to the following charities: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, or the Epilepsy Foundation.
