
LIMINGTON- Donald Blake, age 73, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Limington on Saturday May 9, 2026.
Donnie was born in Saco, Maine and lived most of his life in Limington. He graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1971. While attending school, he played for the basketball team where he had many proud accomplishments. You could always count on hearing stories about his team winning the first ever gold ball (State Championship) in history of Bonny Eagle in 1970. Donnie proudly served in the US Navy for 4 years, before going on to get his CDL. Donnie had a great love for hunting and NASCAR which he loved sharing with his friends and family. Don and his wife Debbie loved spending time in Jackman with friends.
Donnie is predeceased by his loving wife Deborah Blake, his father Stanley Blake and mother Anna Blake, brother Stanley Blake Jr., and his daughter Michelle Dandridge. Donnie is survived by his sister Jennifer Gammon of Florida, son Christopher Blake of Limington, daughter Tabitha Blake and fiancé Chad Anthony of Effingham, NH, Stepdaughter Sabrina Ramsdell of Limington, 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday May 30th from 1 - 3 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. A reception will follow at The Roost in Buxton.
