Obituary

WEBSTER – Louise Mae (Dangredo) Hamm, 94, died Saturday, May 9, 2026 in UMass/Memorial after an illness.

She leaves a daughter, Joanne M. Boutillette of Webster, with whom she lived; 3 sons, Bruce F. Hamm of Brookfield, Kevin P. Hamm and his wife Tina of Putnam, CT, and Robert W. Hamm and his wife Natalia of Spring Hill, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son William Hamm, by her daughters Sharon Hamm, Patty Piechowski, Charlene Grondin and Dianne Embair, by her brother Melvin Dangredo and by her sister Dorothy Beauregard.

She was born in Webster on December 23, 1931, the second child of Peter and Agnes (Bacon) Dangredo and graduated from Fanning Trade High School in Worcester. She lived in Webster most of her life.

Mrs. Hamm was a housekeeper at Webster Manor and later at the Masonic Home in Charlton before retiring in 1997.

Her life was dedicated to her family and its activities. She liked to meet friends for morning coffee at McDonald’s and at Honey Dew.

A celebration of her life will be held in the future. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
