
Worcester – Linda E. (Pitro) Falconer, 75, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026 with family by her side in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda is survived by her three loving children, Thomas Falconer and his fiancé, Joy Hunton of Sutton, James Falconer and his fiancé, Jessica Perry of Oxford and Jennifer Falconer of Worcester; two brothers, Peter Pitro of Boylston and Paul Pitro of Spencer; two sisters, Jane Bonin and her husband, Jay of Rochdale and Dian Levitan and her husband, Jay of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Damien Falconer, Sophia Falconer and Kaleb Falconer as well as many nieces and nephews.
Linda was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Vasil and Anna (Arger) Pitro. She graduated from Tahanto Regional High School and worked in the healthcare industry for many years as a nurse at many local nursing homes in the Worcester area.
Linda was passionate about her work and always looked forward to going to work. She loved being able to assist her patients and took great pride in the care that she was able to provide. Linda always enjoyed a good game of bingo and she was talented and skilled at creating stained glass projects, whether it was Christmas ornaments or windows. Her family was her priority and she never missed an opportunity to be with them, especially her children and grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her and she was a proud mother and “Nene” to her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 8 at 11 AM in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church 535 Salisbury St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held before the service starting at 10 AM in the church.
