Annette “Smith” Leisten of Florida and formerly of Chelsea and Peabody passed away on April 28th. Annette’s smiling face and joyful personality will be sadly missed.
Annette was a wonderful cook who spent many years welcoming others into her home. She especially loved spending Thanksgiving with her nieces. She was truly the life of the party and was incredibly caring, and those who knew her could always count on her when it mattered most.
Annette was the beloved wife of Mitchell Leisten and was the loving wife of the late Larry Smith. Annette sadly was predeceased by her two sons Jared Ian Smith and Joseph Smith. She was the loving daughter of the late Murray and the late Beverly Tarmy. She was the dear sister of Beatrice Liberman and her partner Fred Darcy and the late Barry Tarmy and niece of William Tarmy and Rena Tarmy. Annette was the amazing and fun aunt of Michael Liberman, Jessica Liberman, and Jamie Liberman and adoring great aunt of Ayla Alexis Liberman.
Funeral services will be held on the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Monday, May 4 at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Everett. Contributions in Annette’s memory may be made to the MSPCA.
