Marie A. (DeFronzo) Martin
September 22, 1934 – April 29, 2026
Marie Martin, age 91, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, whose life was centered around her family. She was well known for her quiet strength, kindness and unwavering love for those closest to her. Her presence brought comfort and stability, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
She was lovingly cared for by her Granddaughter, Andrea Martignetti Nigro.
She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Debbie (2014) and Avis (2016).
Marie is survived by her loving son Wayne; and was the beloved Nana of Seven cherished grandchildren; Six great grandchildren; and Three great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and loved.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Marie at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Friday May 8 from 9-11am, with a special prayer service held at 11am. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
Marie will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
