Carol A. Zeien, a proud lifelong resident of South Boston, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2026, at the age of 71.

Carol found joy in life’s simple pleasures — a hot dog at Castle Island, a Dunkin’ lemonade, and, most importantly, time spent with her family. She especially cherished her trips to the Cape, where countless memories were made at her timeshare surrounded by loved ones.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Ellen and Leo Zeien; her sister, Janice Zeien; and her niece, Michele Crewe.
Carol is survived by her loving sisters, Debbie Zeien and her husband George Williams , and Ellen Zeien and her husband John DeMeo. She was a devoted aunt to her nephews, Christopher DeMeo and his wife Meaghan, Braun Williams and his wife Amanda, and Jonathan DeMeo and his wife Anastasia. She also leaves behind her cherished great-nieces, Emily and Riley.
Carol will be remembered for her loyalty, her humor, her deep love of family, and her unmistakable South Boston spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
