Carl J Stagliano, II, passed away on Monday morning, April 27, 2026. He was 57. A lifelong Medford resident, Carl was the beloved son of Robert and the late Mary (Little) Stagliano.
Carl worked for several years with the Massachusetts Port Authority at Hanscom Field. He previously worked for 30 years with Verizon.
Carl was a loving and loyal son, brother and friend. He cared for his father over the past few years after the passing of his mother and sister. Carl lived to live. Though he worked hard, he loved to hang out and be with the people who were important to him. As a young guy he looked forward to family camping trips along the Kancamagus Highway especially at Jigger Johnson Campground. His enthusiasm for the outdoors continued throughout his life with trips to Lake Winnipesaukee, York Beach and the Nubble Light House. A proud member of Medford High’s class of 1986, he was famous for hosting pool parties in his back yard. With as many as 200 guests, friends enjoyed many memorable moments, and nights full of music, dancing, food and unending fun. Known as one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, Carl’s sudden passing will leave a deep void in every life he touched.
The beloved son of Robert Stagliano and the late Mary H. (Little) Stagliano, Carl was preceded in death by his dear sister Laureen Stagliano. In addition to his father Carl leaves his devoted friends Angela DiSisto, Colleen Cannon Gildea, Michelle Bates, his nieces Lexis, Kayla and Casey, his uncle Paul Stagliano and aunt Jean Gillam. Carl also leaves his cousins and many other loving friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Sunday May 3rd from 4 – 8 PM and again on Monday morning at 9, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM.
