William Daniel “Billy” Holland, Jr., 68, of Tifton passed away Monday April 27, 2026, at HCA Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2026, at Wayside Missionary Baptist Church in Tifton with Greg Hill and Stephen Williford officiating. Billy will be laid to rest at Wayside Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Wayside Baptist Church in Tifton from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Greg Nimmo, Zach Nimmo, Tanner Nimmo, Matthew Liles and Daniel Holland will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 22, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, Billy was the son of William Daniel “Bill” Holland, Sr. of Tifton and the late Sandra Marie Danielczyk Holland. Before retiring, he was the Meat Market Manager at Winn Dixie. He loved to go fishing with his father. His other loves in life included going to church, music and especially loving to laugh. He was a member of Wayside Missionary Baptist Church in Tifton.
In addition to his father, Billy is survived by one son, Jason Holland of Tifton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Leesa Liles and Susan and Greg Nimmo, all of Tifton; and several nieces and nephews.
