Sandra Faye Stone, 83, of Church Street, Greenville, passed away on April 27th in the Hulitar Hospice Intake Center, Providence.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Clifford Donald and Charlotte Irene (Fratus) Stone. She had lived in Greenville since December 2024, previously living in Westerly for 22 years.
Sandra was a beautician for many years and prior to her retirement was a flagger and a member of Local 271.
She loved spending time with grandchildren, Kacie and Kelli over the years, had been an avid bingo player, as well as a recent concert goer, having twice enjoyed Johnny Depp’s band, The Hollywood Vampires, play in Boston.
Sandra is predeceased by her husbands, William D. Doster, Charles A. Roy and James R. Wood.
She leaves her children, Donald C. Doster and his wife Karen of Pittsfield, NH, Jeffrey A. Roy and his wife, Kim of Warwick, Charlotte I. Mancini and her husband Henry of Chepachet and Kathleen T. Wood and her husband Tony of Clearwater, FL. She was the loving grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 10. She leaves behind two siblings, Cheri Dodd of Cranston and Thomas E. Stone of Clearwater, FL and was predeceased by brothers, Francis Goss of Cranston and Clifford D. Stone, Jr of Exeter.
Her funeral and burial were private.
