Kevin Gagnon, 66, of Newport, VT, previously a longtime resident of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully on April 28th surrounded by his family. Kevin was a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Hope Gagnon; as well as his sons, Jarred (wife Amanda), Jason (wife Kelly), Jacob (wife Shannon), Michael, Connor, and Christopher; six grandchildren, Nora, Madison, Delaney, Landon, Cole, and Levi. He is also survived by his sister, Denise Berchtold (husband John); along with many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Kevin was an avid Boston sports fan, especially his beloved New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He never missed a game and anybody who was lucky enough to watch the Pats with Kevin knew of his superstitious rituals that ensured his teams were victorious. Kevin shared his passion for sports as he coached his sons along with generations of kids.
Kevin loved Stephen King books, action movies, dogs, summer barbecues, Christmastime, and constantly cracking jokes. His sense of humor was legendary. He brought laughter to any situation he found himself in. The only attribute stronger in Kevin than his humor was the love he had for his family.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 8:45 - 10:45am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Committal services will follow at Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry.
