Obituary

LIMERICK - Steven Michael Howe, age 61 of Limerick passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2026 leaving behind a lifetime of dedication, craftsmanship, and quiet joys shared with those who knew him best.

In his younger years, Steven embraced an active and adventurous spirit. He participated in Boy Scouts, played Little League, and spent much of his time enjoying the outdoors—experiences that helped shape his strong work ethic and appreciation for perseverance.

Steven graduated from Sanford High School and went on to pursue technical training, becoming a skilled machinist. He was known as a hard worker who took immense pride in the quality and precision of his work.

Outside of his profession, Steve found happiness in simple pleasures. He was an avid football fan, especially devoted to the New England Patriots, and enjoyed attending games whenever he had the opportunity. He also had a passion for collecting sports cards, a hobby he loved sharing with family and friends. Above all, Steve cherished family. Whether gathered for meals, holidays, or special occasions, those moments meant the most to him. Following the passing of his father, Steve dedicated much of his time to caring for his mother, including preparing meals and ensuring her well-being with quiet devotion.

He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Howe, and is survived by his mother - Jill (Hayes) Howe, sister – Lori Howe of Biddeford, brother – Patrick Howe and his wife Kim of South Berwick, niece, and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
