Guy J. Arno P.E. 55, of Newtonville s died suddenly on Thursday September 14, 2006 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton. Born in Newton, Guy moved to in New York when he was two years old and later moved to New Jersey where he graduated from the Baskin Ridge High School in in 1969. Guy continued his education at Tufts University where he received his BA and BS in Chemical Engineering and Economics in 1974. He received his MBA from Northeaston Universty. A Professional Engineer, Guy was a Chemical Engineer at BioMetics in Waltham for the past eight years. He was a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Guy also played soccer in a soccer league and enjoyed golf. Guy was the beloved husband of Ethel (Downey). Loving father of Spencer Downey Arno, Perrin D., Anneliese D. all of Newton and the late Megan D. Arno. Dear son of Guy Arno of Hampton NH and the late Carolyn (Cerasa) Arno. Brother of Janet McWeeney of Indianapolis, David Arno of NC and Robert Arno of Falmouth. A Memorial Service will be held at the Eliot Church, 474 Church St. Newton Corner on Tuesday Sept. 19th at 3:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
