Marinelle Williams Trimble, 89, of Tifton died Friday, September 15, 2006, at Cypress Pond Assisted Living. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Bill Christman will officiate with burial to follow.
Ms. Trimble was born on August 27, 1917 in Raines and was the daughter of Dr. Loron Earl Williams and Eddie Sheppard Williams, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Trimble and one sister, Martha Jeannette Williams Rigdon. She was a retired high school history teacher and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Summerville.
Ms. Trimble is survived by one brother, Loron W. Williams, Jr. of Cordele; and two nephews, Dr. Steve Williams Rigdon of Tifton and Fred Warren "Buck" Rigdon of Tifton.
