Luciano Lidano, a lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on Saturday, April 18th. He was 87. Born and raised in Carpineto Romano, Italy, he was the cherished son of the late Agostino and Antonia (Prosperi) Lidano.
Luciano was the beloved husband of 62 years to Silvana (Coluzzi) Lidano. He was the devoted father of Mark Lidano and his wife Karen, and Paul Lidano and his wife Elizabeth. He was the loving Nonno of Kristina, Nicholas, Alex, Joseph, Andrew and Marilyn, and the dear brother of Pierina Antico and the late Alda, Balduino and Frank.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Luciano’s family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Monday, April 27th from 4 to 7 PM, and again on Tuesday, April 28th at 9AM, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
