Joseph B. Reddy, a resident of Medford and beloved son of Pastor John G. and Teresa M. (Kelleher) Reddy, passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose on April 17, 2026. He was 33 years old.
Joseph was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on June 15, 1992. He was a graduate of Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School, class of 2011, specializing in Automotive Technology. Joseph was at his best tearing engines apart and making automobiles “hum”. In his spare time, he enjoyed snappy hair trims, rooting for the Celtics, and catching up with friends and family. Even in death, Joseph desired to be a blessing to others when he chose to be an Organ Donor benefiting multiple recipients throughout New England and beyond. He learned to think of others as a believer in the grace of Jesus extending to others.
Besides his beloved parents, Pastor John and Teresa, Joseph is survived by his loving siblings; Karen Reddy (husband Leonardo Montenegro) of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Alexander Reddy of Kansas City MO; Natasha Souza (husband Joseph Souza) of Springfield SC; Latoya Woodard of Easton MA; Nicole Woodard of Fairhaven MA; and Lenore Woodard of New Bedford MA. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He was born to Joseph Bertino, Jr and the late Lenore Emily Woodard. Joseph will be dearly missed by all.
Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, on Friday, April 24th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. A “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00am at Hope Fellowship Church, 16 Beech Street, Cambridge MA 02140. Parking is challenging so early arrival is advised. Interment will be held immediately following at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford MA 02155. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to support the work of His Mansion Ministries through your generous donation. While living in residence, Joseph experienced the healthiest year of his adult life and thrived in friendships made. He would want others to find that peace too. The family asks that you please memo “In Memory of Joseph Reddy” so we can celebrate your kindness.
