Deward Torres, 41 years old, of Boston, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2026.
Deward Torres was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on June 5, 1984 and grew up in Dorchester. He is survived by his mother Digna De La Rosa, his brother Richard Torres and his sisters Devorah Torres and Clara Alcantara.
Deward Torres was deeply loved by his friends and those who were close to him. Deward was funny, often making people laugh effortlessly and brightening their day. He was a great listener, a comforter and supportive to those who were going through a difficult time. He would go above and beyond with those he loved and cared for. You would often find Deward cooking delicious meals for his family and friends.
Deward had a great work ethic and took great pride in all the obstacles and challenges he had overcome in life. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA station) Jamaica Plain on Friday April 17 from 10 am until 12 noon. Interment will then follow at Cedar grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
