Daryl Glen Jones, 71, of Anderson, passed away April 14, 2026 at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born on February 20, 1955 in Indianapolis, the son of Glen and Betty (Grider) Jones.
He was a machinist his entire career and retired from Standard Locknut in 2024.
Daryl enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping with his wife, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He loved going to the casino and getting his favorite ice cream from Dairy Queen, mowing the grass and bowling.
Daryl is survived by his wife, Andrea Zachary Jones, who he loved unconditionally; his daughter, Kelly (Emilio) Montes; sister, Connie Norris; nieces, Traci (Scott) LeMay, Tobey (Brad) Douglas; nephews, Chad, Cameron and Chance Norris, Austin Douglas; stepchildren, Jessica (Benjamin) Hazelett and Jeremy Zachary; grandchildren Alejandro and Julian Montes, Jaden (Rafaella) Driffill, Zane (Haley) Starkey, Jason (Layla) Starkey, Layla Starkey, Phillip Zachary, Braydon (Angel) and Caylen (Obet) Hazelett ; great grandchildren, Amorie and Kamara Walker and Bryer Starkey; special Aunt, Libby Grider and a host of close cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Jones; his mother, Betty (Glen Smithers) Jones; and his uncle, Leland Grider.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Private graveside services will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
