Dana Lee Hood, 48, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, April 12, 2026, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 4 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating.
Mrs. Hood was born February 8, 1978, to Peggy Taylor Melton and the late Phillip Henry Musslewhite. Mrs. Hood loved to craft, plant flowers, and her dogs. She was a self-employed contractor in the customer service industry.
She is survived by her husband, Ryan Hood of Fitzgerald; her mother, Peggy Melton; her brother, Derek & Holly Musslewhite; and brother-in-law, Randle & Haley Morgan. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a daughter Eva Hood, and a sister Didra Rose.
