
Robert J. “Bob” Morgan, of Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, March 9th. He was 79. Born and raised in the Bronx, he was the cherished son of the late Arthur and Rita (Belliveau) Morgan. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force and was an example of a true patriot.
Bob had a kind disposition and a heart of gold. He was easy going and always had a smile on his face. Bob was a natural people person and made connections with everyone he met, everyone loved him. Bob will be missed by those who knew him.
When Bob was out and about it didn’t matter where he was going, he always dressed to the nines. He loved playing golf, reading, solving puzzles, playing cards and traveling with Marilyn. They enjoyed their trips to the national parks, Hawaii, Italy and on many cruises.
Bob was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Mirlocca) Morgan. He was the dear brother of the late Carol and Rod O’Connor and the late Frances and Richard Grohman. He was the loving uncle of Kathleen and Michael Riveiro, Michael and Renee O’Connor, Stephen O’Connor, Karen O’Conner, Glenn and Jennie Mirlocca, Mark and Ayanna Mirlocca and Nicholas Mirlocca. He was the caring nephew to his Aunt Doris, and brother in-law of Steven and Christine Mirlocca, Michele Mirlocca, and Mark and Maryanne Mirlocca. Bob is also survived by many grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, April 20th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Services will conclude with military honors.
