James was a proud and devoted public servant whose career spanned more than five decades. He was known for his strength, unwavering sense of duty, and deep love for his family. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, James cherished time with his family and his beloved dog, Murphy, who was a constant and loyal companion throughout the years. James loved spending summers at Belgrade Lake in Rome, ME, and touring wineries with friends throughout the country.
