Ronal E. Buckley, Sr., 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Greenville Skilled Nursing Home in Smithfield, RI. A lifelong resident of Johnston, RI , he was the beloved son of the late Thomas J. and Gladys M. (Whitehead) Buckley.
Mr. Buckley was a self-employed mechanic for many years, known for his hard work and dedication to his trade. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his son, Ronal E. Buckley, Jr., and his wife, Heidi, of Milton, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Emma, Peter, and Justin Buckley as well as many extended family members.
He was predeceased by his siblings, William, James, Richard, Thomas, John, Gerald, and Jerry Buckley, as well as his sister, Patricia Hjerpe.
