
STANDISH- SANDY LEE LANGLEY, 61, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2026, at her home.
Sandy was born in Pittsfield, ME on September 5, 1964. She grew up in Portland and went to Portland schools including Lyman Moore, Lincoln & Deering High. She worked for many years for Port City Dental in Windham.
She was an avid animal lover and would save any critter that needed to be rescued. She had 7 dogs of her own with Dan. She loved riding motorcycles and was quite a snowmobile rider, she was just fun to be around.
Her heart was as big as the sky. Her beautiful smile would light up the room anywhere she went. She loved deep, so If you were lucky enough to be loved by her, there was no question about her love and loyalty. Family was everything to her. She loved to cook and in her younger years travelled up and down the east coast with Dan and her parents.
Sandy is survived by her partner of 49 years, Daniel J Paulsen, aka “Piggy” of Standish, ME. Her sister, Lisa Belisle & husband David of Arundel, ME. Lisa’s son, Naval Senior Chief, Tyler Curlew and his wife Alen of Moyock, NC and Tyler’s daughter, her great niece, Skyla Curlew also of Moyock, NC. She adored Tyler & Skyla and felt they were her children too. Her sister-in-law & husband, Dawn & Ted Osier of Windham, ME. Her favorite Aunt, Maxine Plissey of Presque Isle, ME and many cousins.
She is predeceased by her parents, Elena & Robert “Chopper Bob” Langley of Standish, ME and formerly Presque Isle, ME.
Visiting hours and a Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026, at the home she shared with Dan starting at 2pm at 21 Fair Wind Dr, Standish, ME (Steep Falls).
